Your Questions, Answered

wanderwi

  • WanderWi is a growing ecosystem centered around healing, connection, and becoming more fully yourself. What started as a personal journey has grown into a living project that explores transformation through conversation, community, nature, and eventually land and animals.

Today, WanderWi lives through storytelling, coaching, and real conversations about life and healing. As it continues to grow, it will expand into retreats and an animal refuge designed to support deeper transformation and connection.

Rather than a single offering, WanderWi is unfolding in phases, from personal growth and conversation, to travel and connection across the country, and eventually to a physical sanctuary for healing and community.

  • Yes and no. WanderWi is already alive through The Becoming, the phase where conversations, coaching, storytelling, and community are happening in real time.

The next phase, Coffee & Connection, will take those conversations on the road as WanderWi travels the country meeting people and sharing stories about healing and life.

The later phases, The Sacred Unfolding (retreats) and Breath & Bridle (the animal refuge), are still in development and will unfold as the journey continues.

If you’ve found WanderWi now, you’re early in the story, and that’s a beautiful place to be.

  • “WanderWi” reflects both movement and return; the journey outward and the journey back to yourself. The word wander represents exploration, curiosity, and the courage to follow a path that isn’t always clearly mapped.

The “Wi” comes directly from Wiley, the founder behind the vision. Over time, it has also come to represent within, a reminder that while we may roam far and wide searching for purpose, healing, or belonging, the deepest transformation happens when we return to ourselves.

WanderWi is ultimately about wandering with intention.. and remembering who you truly are along the way.

  • WanderWi is being built as a mission-driven business with multiple branches that support both personal transformation and long-term community impact.

Right now, WanderWi operates through offerings like coaching, media, and storytelling. As it grows, it will expand into retreats and an animal refuge designed to support deeper healing and connection.

In the long term, the vision includes both for-profit and nonprofit elements. The business side supports retreats, media, and programs, while a future nonprofit branch will help support sanctuary work, accessibility initiatives, and outreach for those who might not otherwise have access to healing spaces.

Like the rest of WanderWi, the structure is unfolding in phases as the vision continues to grow.

  • There are lots of ways to connect with WanderWi depending on what resonates most with you. You can explore the Media page to watch YouTube videos, listen to the podcast, or read the blog. You can also follow along on TikTok and Instagram for real-time updates from the journey.

If you’d like deeper connection, you can join the mailing list, attend a free workshop or live event, or book a one-on-one session with Wiley.

You can also support the movement by wearing the merch, leaving a Google review, donating, or sending a tip throughVenmo or Cash App. Every bit of support helps keep the road moving and the vision growing.

  • WanderWi is currently based in California. The next phase of the journey, Coffee & Connection, will take WanderWi on the road as Wiley travels across the country hosting real conversations about life, healing, and becoming.

After this traveling chapter, the long-term vision is to return to California to establish the future home of WanderWi, including retreats and the animal refuge.

In the meantime, many offerings, including media, workshops, and coaching, are available online from anywhere.

  • Not at all. You just need to be curious; about healing, growth, and coming home to yourself.

Whether you’re exploring your mental health, rebuilding your self-worth, doing deep inner work, or simply craving real connection, you’re welcome here. WanderWi is a space for the seekers, the skeptics, and the soul-hungry alike.

No dogma. No pressure. Just an open door.

  • Think: sacred meets soulful. We’re rooted in deep healing, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. There’s space here for tears, laughter, late-night epiphanies, and early-morning meditations.

It’s western wild meets grounded woo, with a little nomad spirit mixed in. Campfires, open roads, compassion, and community all live here. Whether you’re dancing barefoot under the stars, journaling in silence with a cup of tea, or having a life-changing conversation over coffee somewhere new, you’re in the right place.

  • WanderWi isn’t a one-size-fits-all platform. It’s a living experiment rooted in authenticity, inclusivity, and lived experience, not algorithms, trends, or ego.

This space isn’t about pretending to have it all figured out. It’s about healing honestly, connecting with people who truly get it, and remembering who you are beneath all the noise so you can build a life that actually feels like yours.

The becoming

  • The Becoming is the phase of WanderWi where everything begins. It’s the space where ideas are explored out loud, healing conversations happen in real time, and the foundations of WanderWi are being built.

Through storytelling, coaching, and community conversations, this phase invites people to reflect on their own journeys of growth and transformation while witnessing the WanderWi vision unfold.

  • The Becoming is where the conversations start. During this phase, WanderWi is centered around media, storytelling, coaching, and shared reflections about healing, identity, and personal transformation.

It’s less about polished programs and more about honest exploration; learning, growing, and building something meaningful step by step.

  • You can be part of this phase by engaging with WanderWi in the ways that resonate most with you. That might look like listening to the podcast, exploring the media and writing, booking a one-on-one session, joining a workshop or live conversation, or simply following the journey as it unfolds.

Every person who shows up during this phase becomes part of the early story of WanderWi.

Coffee

and

connection

  • Coffee & Connection is a traveling conversation series where Wiley hits the road and meets people across the country to share real conversations about life, healing, and becoming. The idea is simple: sit down with a cup of coffee and talk honestly about the experiences that shape who we are.

Some conversations will be light, others deeply personal. Some will explore healing, identity, or transformation. Others might simply capture the beauty of two strangers meeting and realizing they’re not so different after all. Every conversation becomes part of a larger story about connection and what it means to be human.

  • Coffee is simple, familiar, and human. Some of the most meaningful conversations in life happen across a small table with a warm drink in hand. It’s a setting that naturally invites people to slow down, open up, and speak honestly.

Coffee & Connection uses that everyday moment as a doorway. Instead of a stage, a studio, or a formal interview, the conversation happens in the same place people already gather to talk, reflect, and share pieces of their lives.

And honestly.. coffee also won the vote because it’s basically the only thing Wiley drinks besides water. So it felt like the obvious choice.

Because sometimes the most powerful stories don’t come from experts or influencers. They come from two people sitting across from each other, asking real questions, and listening with curiosity.

  • Most of the conversations happen organically. Sometimes it’s someone Wiley meets while standing in line at a café, sometimes it’s a person recommended through social media or a local connection along the road. There isn’t a strict formula.

The goal of Coffee & Connection isn’t to interview experts or influencers. It’s to sit down with real people who are willing to share a piece of their story; the moments that shaped them, the lessons they’ve learned, and the experiences that helped them grow.

Some conversations will happen spontaneously, others might be planned ahead of time. Either way, the heart of the project stays the same: two people sitting down, sharing a cup of coffee, and seeing what unfolds.

  • Possibly! Coffee & Connection is built around real conversations with real people, so if WanderWi happens to pass through your area and you feel called to share part of your story, there may be an opportunity to sit down for a conversation.

Some people will be met spontaneously along the road, while others may apply through the website to share their story ahead of time.

If you’d like to be considered, you can submit your story through the Coffee & Connection application form and Wiley may reach out if the timing and location align.

The best way to stay in the loop is to follow along on social media or join the mailing list as the journey unfolds.

  • Coffee & Connection will travel through different cities and communities across the country as WanderWi hits the road. Some stops will be loosely planned, while others will unfold naturally along the journey.

The goal isn’t to follow a rigid route, but to explore different places, perspectives, and life stories along the way. From small-town cafés to bustling city coffee shops, every stop becomes an opportunity for a meaningful conversation.

If you’d like to follow the journey in real time, the best places to keep up with the road are TikTok, YouTube, and the WanderWi mailing list, where updates and new conversations will be shared as they happen.

  • Coffee & Connection is Phase Two of the WanderWi journey. After The Becoming, where the conversations, coaching, and storytelling began, this phase takes that same spirit of curiosity and healing out into the world.

By traveling across the country and sitting down with people from all walks of life, Coffee & Connection gathers stories, perspectives, and shared human experiences that will help shape the future of WanderWi.

Eventually, the road will lead back to California, where the next chapters, The Sacred Unfolding (the retreat) and Breath & Bridle (the refuge), will begin to take root.

In many ways, Coffee & Connection is the bridge between the personal journey and the physical sanctuary still to come.
